My passion for hospitality led me as a teenager to the Salzkammergut, starting with training at the HTBLA for Tourism in Bad Ischl. After that, many exciting stops took me through upscale Austrian vacation hotels and onto international cruise ships.

All the more special for me is that since 2026, I’ve been back where it all began, taking over from our long-time managing director Peter Scheutz, who shaped the Heritage Hotel over many years.

I enjoy every day being able to welcome guests from all over the world to Hallstatt. Many are only here for a short time, which makes it even more important to me to not only provide them with a pleasant stay but also to give them a sense of the uniqueness of this extraordinary place.

Hallstatt is not a place like any other – shaped by history, tradition, and a unique atmosphere. We want our guests to take a bit of that with them and leave with positive memories.

It is a particular pleasure for me to welcome people from all over the world to my hometown of Hallstatt.

After my studies in International Management and valuable experiences abroad, I felt drawn back to this special place. My time in other countries has shown me just how unique my home is – and how much I value being able to host guests here today.

As managing director, I combine strategic thinking with a strong sense of the house’s economic development, its positioning, and the relationship with its guests and partners.

For me, hospitality means connecting people, creating special moments, and shaping a place where guests and staff feel welcome and comfortable. In doing so, I combine my international experience and entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine connection to Hallstatt and the region.

The Heritage.Hotel Hallstatt is much more than just a hotel to me. It is a house with history, character, and a very special atmosphere.

As a native of Hallstatt, my passion for tourism was practically instilled in me from birth. At the Heritage.Hotel, I had the opportunity to develop both personally and professionally over many years, gradually taking on more responsibility.

With my high standards of quality, meticulous attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm for the hotel industry, I dedicate myself daily to ensuring our guests feel completely at ease. It is truly special for me to work in a place where people from all over the world experience their most cherished vacation moments.

Just as important as the well-being of our guests is our team. Appreciation, teamwork, and mutual support are the foundation for us to give our best every single day.

Since 2022, I have had the privilege of serving as the Hotel Director, overseeing the operational management of the Heritage.Hotel. I fulfill this responsible role with great joy, passion, and a commitment to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.
